Privacy policy

Summary

  • We only store your email if you give it to us — to send you the free guide and, occasionally, new content.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
  • You can ask us to delete everything by writing to negocios@richardsuarezu.com.

Who we are

The data controller is Dr. Richard Suárez (referred to as "we"). To exercise your rights, write to negocios@richardsuarezu.com.

What data we collect

Only the following:

  • Email address, when you voluntarily enter it in the free-guide form or any other form on the site.
  • Selected language (Spanish or English) and source (which form you submitted), so we can deliver content in your language.
  • Aggregated technical data via Cloudflare (our hosting provider): truncated IP addresses, browser type, country-level location. Not associated with your identity, used to detect abuse and keep the site online.
  • Anonymous metrics from Cloudflare Web Analytics if active: pages visited, referrer, browser. No cookies, no fingerprinting.

We do not collect medical information, government-issued IDs, banking data, or other sensitive information. Purchases are handled by Hotmart, which has its own privacy policy.

What we use your data for

  • Deliver the guide or material you requested.
  • Occasionally send new high-value educational content.
  • Measure aggregate usage to improve the site.
  • Comply with legal obligations when applicable.

We do not profile your behavior, run personalized advertising, or use your data to train AI models.

Who we share your data with

Only with providers strictly necessary for the site to function:

  • Brevo (email marketing) — stores your email and sends messages. Servers in the European Union.
  • Cloudflare (CDN and hosting) — delivers pages and protects against abuse.
  • Hotmart (payment processor) — processes course and ebook purchases. Their terms apply during the transaction.

We do not share your data with advertisers or social networks for commercial purposes.

How long we keep your data

We keep your email on the list as long as you choose to remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe (every email has an unsubscribe link), your address is removed from the sending list within 30 days.

Your rights

Under applicable laws (GDPR in the EU, LOPD, LFPDPPP in Mexico, and similar regulations across Latin America and the US), you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Rectify it if it is wrong.
  • Request its deletion ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or limit processing.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, write to negocios@richardsuarezu.com. We respond within 30 days.

Minors

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor in your care has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Some of our providers (Cloudflare, Brevo, Hotmart) have servers outside your country of residence. In those cases, data is transferred under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the relevant data protection authorities.

Changes to this policy

If we modify this policy, we will notify you by email (if subscribed) and update the date at the top. Substantial changes will require your explicit acceptance.
